Description
German-made M1863 Zouave sword bayonet marked “Made expressly for Flaig’s Millvale PA”. These are widely regarded as some of the best reproductions ever produced of the classic Civil War Remington 1863 Zouave saber bayonet. They were manufactured in Germany in the 1950s specifically for Flaig’s Gun Shop in Millvale, Pennsylvania, and are known for their excellent fit, finish, and attention to detail.
This bayonet is in very good used condition. The blade is clean with good edge and point, showing only light handling marks and honest patina consistent with age. The brass hilt and guard retain nice color with typical light wear. The bayonet mounts securely and is mechanically sound.
