British made, 12 Gauge Side by Side Shotgun By Cogswell & Harrison, London, and so marked. This is a very nice English side by side shotgun. It carries 28 inch barrels(Left Mod, Right IC), has a 14 1/4 inch length of pull, and an overall length of 44 1/4 inches. Bores are bright and shiny, ejectors are present, Nitro Proofed, Sleeved barrels. Marked as gun #1 of a set. Nicely engraved receiver and trigger guard, double triggers. Beautiful English Walnut straight stock, with a slim wrist that is nicely checkered, and finished with a very well done wooden spacer and buttplate. Splinter forearm with engraved metal hardware. A very nice example of a great gunmakers work.
