OWS has made a purchase of a large group of vintage sporting guns from Europe and will be listing all items on this website. This is a British made Bolton & Co. Southport Armoury 12ga side by side sidelock shotgun, in good condition, perfect working condition. Photos are of the actual gun so you can see its exact condition. Gun features a Prince-of-Wales gripped stock, checkered at the wrist and forend, well figured wood with plastic checkered buttplate, ID disc, Deeley forend. Full sidelock with cocking indicators, hand-engraved receiver and trigger guard. Barrels are full Damascus and, as such, ONLY BLACK POWDER SHELLS ARE TO BE USED!, Greener style Birdhead locking system, extractors, chambered for 2 1/2″ shells, 14” length of pull, 30” barrels and 446 1/2” overall length. A very nice example of a classic English side by side shotgun.
