Mauser K98 K Original German WWII 42 1940 Matching TG, floor plate, follower & bands

Description

This is an all-original World War II German K98 K rifle, 42 1940 marked.  Gun is in overall good condition.  Metal retains approximately 15% of its original finish with no visible rust or pitting.  Bolt and all bolt parts are original but not matching number to the receiver. Parts that are matching numbered to the receiver include the milled trigger guard and floorplate as well as both bands, rear sight, follower and bolt stop. Front sight has original shroud, rear sight is 100-2000 meter gradients on both sides of the sight.   Buttplate is milled with non-matching numbers to the gun.  Original Waffen markings on the bands, rear sight, barrel, receiver, trigger guard, floorplate, follower and buttplate  Bore shows moderate pitting and has strong rifling, does not have cleaning rod.   Serial number of gun is 4608gg.  Cal. 8mm Mauser.

Stock is in good condition with no visible cracks and has light original waffen markings.
