Mauser K98 K Original German WWII DOU 42 Matching TG, floor plate, bands, rear sight

Description

This is an all-original World War II German K98 K rifle, DOU 42 marked, in overall good condition.  Metal retains approximately 35% of its original finish but shows no rust or pitting.  Gun has original Waffen marks on the barrel, and receiver.  Bolt and all bolt parts are original but not matching number to the receiver. Parts that are matching numbered to the receiver include the bolt stop, rear sight, rear sight slide,  milled trigger guard and floorplate as well as both bands. Front sight has original shroud, rear sight is 100-2000 meter gradients and numbered to the gun.   Buttplate is stamped with no visible markings.  Bore shows very light pitting and has strong rifling, does not have cleaning rod.   Serial number of gun is 9296B.  Cal. 8mm Mauser.

Stock is in very good condition with no visible cracks and retains faint original number marking on buttstock that matches the gun’s serial number.
