Mauser K98 K Original German WWII S/42G Matching TG & bands

Description

This is an all-original World War II German K98 K rifle, S/42G marked indicating a 1935 year of production, which was the first year the K98 K was produced.  Gun is in overall good condition.  Metal retains approximately 35% of its original finish but shows very light pitting along the woodline.  Bolt and all bolt parts are original but not matching number to the receiver. Parts that are matching numbered to the receiver include the milled trigger guard as well as both bands. Front sight has original shroud, rear sight is 100-2000 meter gradients on both sides of the sight.   Buttplate is milled with proof markings.  Bore shows moderate pitting and has strong rifling, has original cleaning rod.   Serial number of gun is 8167e.  Cal. 8mm Mauser.

Stock is in good condition with no visible cracks and has no visible markings, appears to have a replacement recoil bar as shown.
