Description
Navy Arms, the company that originally supplied the entire stock of original antique Mauser 71/84 bolt action rifles used in the Tom Cruise movie “The Last Samurai” has now re-acquired these used guns directly from Mr. Rock Galotti, President of Motion Picture Weapons, and the Weapons Coordinator for the movie. Rock’s additional credits include Tom Cruise’s “Mission Impossible 2”, Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables”, James Cameron’s “Avatar – The Way of Water” and Keanu Reeve’s “The Matrix Reloaded”, “The Matrix Revolutions”, “The Matrix Resurrections”, and most recently, “John Wick 4”. As movie-used guns these guns show wear, dents and scratches, but are “Grade 1” guns that do not have cracked stocks. All metal work is original with the stocks being identical replica stocks made for the movie including the identical cartouches to the originals. Each gun comes with the original black leather sling used in the movie, as well as a certificate of authenticity signed by both Mr. Galotti and Navy Arms’ President, Val Forgett III. As these guns were all produced prior to 1898, they are considered antiques and can be shipped directly to individuals and DO NOT need to be transferred through an FFL! Quantities are extremely limited, do not miss out on this opportunity to own both a great original antique gun as well as a piece of movie history.
