This is a classic English-made double-barrel shotgun from the respected Birmingham gunmaker William Ford, featuring a solid boxlock action and straight grip stock – a traditional field gun known for its quality construction and good handling.
This shotgun is in good used condition. The wood stock is solid with no cracks or major damage and shows only typical handling marks from normal use. Metal finish exhibits typical wear consistent with age and field use. There is a small amount of pitting on the barrels (as shown in photos) but no deep pitting or structural issues. Bores are bright and clean. Action opens and closes crisply with tight lockup and is mechanically sound.
